The Herbal Medicine Clinic is a private clinic.

Your consultation takes place in a private, relaxing setting.

Consultation - assessment and treatment
The first consultation is approximately 2 hours in duration and includes:

• details of health history, lifestyle, presenting health problem, current medications
• diagnostic tests eg. blood pressure, blood sugar, urine test
• physical examination
• referrals if required eg. laboratory tests, other therapies
• herbal treatment and dietary/lifestyle advice
• client handouts of information where relevant

Follow up consultations are 15-30 minutes in length and include:

• review of progress since starting treatment
• changes made in diet/lifestyle
• design of ongoing treatment plan for client to manage

Consultations are charged at $60 per hour.

Herbal medicine and other medicines

All herbs are prescribed taking into account the other medications a client may be on.
Herb/drug interactions are minimised.
